Some of the key features that make this a best seller are outside features like a zippered water bottle pocket on the side of the bag, elastic at the top, extra mesh at the bottom. This really holds your water bottle securely in place.

And then on the other side is a partially zippered and padded side pocket; great for sunglasses, maybe your cell phone, maybe an mp3 player.

On the front of the bag, we have a large U zip opening to access a really well featured organizer. Inside, there are places to put your pens, a place to put ID, bus pass, things like that, things you need to have ready access, but you don't want just out in the open. Zippered pocket. There's a nice mesh pocket where you can see what's inside without having to dig through it.

We also have an elastic topped fleece lined pocket inside where you may want to put an mp3 player or something delicate that you want to store, but you also don't want falling out of the bag.

There's storage all the way down to the bottom, and we've put these little extra pieces of fabric in here just so that the front doesn't spill open and things fall out from inside.

One of the most important features on any backpack are the shoulder straps. We use an S curved contour shoulder strap that has a lot of padding. We put an air mesh pad on the back of the straps just to keep them cooler when you're carrying the bag.

There's a couple of accessories on the shoulder straps; D ring, webbing, where you can attach some other accessories that you want to carry on the bag. When you're carrying it, all those extra little details on the shoulder straps make it a very bag to carry.

Another feature that we put on all of our backpacks is what we call a thumb loop. It makes it very easy to adjust the bag so that you're carrying it at the right height.

Having access to the main compartment is really important that you don't have to struggle to get into the bag. One of the design elements on the Downloader is that we have this diagonally offset zipper that allows you to gain much easier access into the main section of the bag.

Inside against the back is where the padded laptop compartment is. If you don't carry a laptop, perfect place for text books, ring binders, any other thing that you want to store in there and keep from floating around inside the bag.

It's important also to put the weight as close to your back as possible. You don't want to have the laptop out at the front of the bag. That's going to cause you to tip back while you're carrying it while you really want the weight as close to your core as possible.

There's also plenty of room on the inside of the bag. It's not just for a laptop and a few notebooks. On the panel opposite the laptop compartment, we have another pocket that's elastic bound; great place to store power cables, small accessories, things like that that you don't want rattling around inside the bag.
