I am so commited to helping travel smartly and it takes more than guide books and all the skills. You've got to have good gear. Let me take a minute to share with you my favorite bags and accessories.
Now, when you're shopping for a bag, you have a big decision to make. Are you going to use the convertible suitcase type that I just explained, or will you use one of the wheeled bags that are so popular these days?
I use the rucksack because I'm strong enough to do that. My wife and most of my staff prefers the wheeled bag, what we call the roller board.
Let me explain to you that as long as I'm strong enough to wear this bag on my back, I prefer this. But, when the day comes when I can no longer do that, I'm going to be very thankful for this.
I love the handle. It's very long for tall people. It's very sturdy. So, a tall person can drag it through the streets without having to bend over.
It also comes with industrial strength in-line skate wheels, a lexan shell to keep it sturdy and strong.
It's got a clever handle down here, so when you're putting up into the overhead locker or pulling it out, you get a good grip on it.
It's got the same expandability as the other bags. So, it can pop out a few inches and the same clever pocket configuration.
This little strap enables you to put another bag onto here, your day bag wherever and you can roll them both together piggyback style.
And inside, you've got the same basic tie down straps and that wonderful security pouch.
This bag is the same dimensions as the other bags, 9x21x14 inches. So, you can put that on the overhead locker on the airplane.
