The Mother Lode TLS Junior. It's a wheeled duffel, perfect size for anybody that wants to check baggage.

One of the first features are of the handles of the bag. We have a self-retracting top-lift handle. Then, we have two more handles on the bag ideally placed for when you want to take it in and out of a trunk or onto a luggage trolley.

We have constructed the TLS series using durable fabrics and beautiful colors.

Well placed pockets on the outside of a bag are really important. We have a double zip four head pocket; a great place for gloves, hats, last minute items, or things you want to have quick access to when you get to your destination.

We also have zippered outside pockets on both sides of the Junior; another great place for maybe an umbrella, a wind breaker, or other small items.

Access to the upper compartment is through a double zip U zip opening. We have a zippered mesh pocket in the top. The mesh is nice so that you can see what's inside.

Then, on the inside, there's a single large cavity. Two tie tapes on the inside of the bag help you to secure your contents. You'll also find the bright orange lining. That's something that we think is fun. Travel should be fun. It also makes it easier to find things inside your bag.

All of the zippers on the TLS series are lockable. We've also placed D rings on the bag to help you hold your lock securely.

You don't need a separate luggage tag on the TLS series. We have an ID pocket built into the side; just slide your business card in, privacy mesh window.

Moving on to the interior of the bag, one of the unique features of the Mother Lode series is that we have movable shelves. This allows you to compartmentalize the interior without just having one big section for all your things to move around.

The way I like to pack is to put the heaviest things at the bottom. Then, I take the movable shelf, fold the wings out, set it in. That way, the load is carried. Just think of it as a book shelf inside your luggage.

The bag is built as a two compartment bag. But, you can convert it from a two compartment duffel into a single, large compartment. This is done by unzipping this panel, rolling it up, securing it in place with these little webbing straps and buckles. Then, when you return the bag to this position, you've got a single large compartment great for ski boots, climbing gear, any big, bulky items.

And if that isn't enough room for you, on the TLS series, we've also added an expansion zipper into the bag. Zip this all the way around, and you have another inch and a half of capacity. When you have an expansion zipper, it's also important to be able to use compression straps on the outside of the bag. This just helps you to make sure that the contents aren't moving around and you just cinch it down tight.

Handles and wheels are two of the most important features on any rolling bag. You want to make sure the handle is long enough so that you're not having heel kicking as you're walking down the concourse. You also want to be able to find the right balance for when you're carrying an extra bag with you.

We have an add a bag strap that's built into the TLS series. This allows you to put a briefcase, a tote, or any other extra companion piece that you want to travel with. And then, by adjusting the handle height, you can find the right balance point.

Wheels. That's something you want spaced as far apart as possible. On the TLS series, we use a soft, polyurethane wheel; makes sure that the bag is quiet when it's rolling down the concourse. We also have designed the bag so that the wheel can be easily removed and replaced in the event that it gets damaged.

Another unique feature on the TLS duffels is that they stand upright when fully loaded. This is not the case with most duffels. We accomplish this by using a fiber glass pop rod that is inserted inside the bag and this provides stability to the base.

Two fiber glass rods are included with the TLS duffel. You want to take the tip end, insert it into the little pocket on the top, flex it and then slide it into the base. That's all there is to it.

The Mother Lode Duffel - tough, lightweight and strong.

This is one of the most well-thought out pieces of luggage I have ever seen. The MC does a wonderful of guiding the viewer through the bag. I need this (vs. want this). :-)
